The World in a Glass aims to provide participants with a relaxed and informative introduction to the wider world of wine - we focus on the varieties the Hunter does best, and put them into context with some other excellent Australian and French examples. This is a tutored tasting to take you beyond the usual cellar door experience.
To book your place at The World in a Glass, call the First Creek cellar door on 02 4998 2992. Classes are $50 per head, which includes all course notes and an opportunity to purchase any of the wines tasted at special prices, plus all participants receive a $20 voucher to spend on wine from the course or at the First Creek cellar door.
Class sizes are strictly limited and booking is essential.

Is there a better way to see the Hunter Valley, but from the sky. This is a fantastic way to see the views of the Hunter Valley at the most beautiful time of day... The night before you must phone the check-in hotline to ensure you will fly.
What to wear – dress for hiking; layered clothing you can take off if you get hot under the burner, they suggest a cap, sunglasses and bring a camera. When booking you will need to advise of any health conditions, recent operations, bad knees or back and what your weight is.

The Troon Vintage Golf Course, Greg Norman designed of international standard is our preferred golf course, only 7 minute drive and we would be happy to assist in arranging for you and your guests to play 18 holes with electric cart for $85.00 per person mid week and on week-ends $110.
There are 4 other golf courses in the area within 10-20 minutes drive and we can also arrange bookings on your behalf. |

Sit back and enjoy the highlights of Wine Country. This tour generally visits 5-6 boutique wineries with private tasting's at each and finishes the day at the McGuigan complex and Hunter Valley Cheese Co. Lunch is enjoyed at a local café and is at an extra expense on the day.
